Here I Stand – Malik Morgan Murphy (Poem)

Here I stand,
amongst people of fallen cultures,
not unified through tradition but fear,
not brought together by peace and love but by war.
We are the children of light,
enlightened beings faced to live in the shadow of darkness.
The basis of my existence is cracking at the seams
these schemes of dominion
will not wait for long.
You see the takeover does not happen tomorrow, not now.

You see it starts with you, your bloodline.

That continuing essence that has been nurtured from past life
to the next blossom
but when will you bloom.

For epoch’s mankind has walked a thin line between buddha and butcher
but when will you realise
that she crafts the light and dark,
that she holds the fire,
that she builds this existence.

The woman is the tool.
The woman is the key.

The window of opportunity is shrinking and you all know it.
I speak of it.
I am a result of that opportunity,
A millennia of lives all corresponding to this one moment.
My lineage has fought through the ages to get to this point
And I say to you.

We are the children of light,
enlightened beings faced to live in the shadow of darkness.
Only the self which you manifest exists in a dimension of language
which creates platform to build a convocation, a world.

Don’t fight your true nature, take grounding and comfort in the unknown,
live your dream.
Be that which you were meant to be.

Only then shall you see.
